Fieldwork Facility is proud to have designed (2D & 3D) the exhibition ‘Astonishing Things, The Drawings of Victor Hugo’ at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Victor Hugo was a French novelist, playwright, poet and politician. Hugo’s writing (which incudes ‘Les Misérables’ and ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’) had extraordinary global influence.
In private Hugo would make fantastical drawings. Our exhibition design plays with Hugo’s parallel practices of writing and drawing — the exhibition design introduces Hugo’s works with an ethereal lightness — emulating the state of reverie the drawings were created in.
Case study to follow.
We are ecstatic to Steven Wilson’s see huge public artwork for Brent Cross Town go live.
It has been a delight to curate and commission artworks for Brent Cross Town and we look forward to updating our case study with the wider project shortly.
In the meantime there is a little interview with Steven about the work here.
